Herne Hill School is an independent Pre-Prep and Nursery well known
within its area of South-East London as an oasis of happy learning and
as the largest feeder into the Dulwich Foundation Schools. We are an
accredited member of the Independent Schools Association and of the
Independent Schools Council.
By focusing on Early Years education, we have developed a strong
expertise in making the critical transition from Nursery to School
seamless.
Children joining our Nursery or Kindergarten can avoid the
disruption of a 4+ change and have continuity for up to five years in
what are arguably their most important formative years. Children
joining in Reception also benefit from the smooth progression from a
play-based learning approach to more structured lessons.
