Southbank International School is a school of individuals, with
their own ideas and opinions. Our students have the self-confidence to
express these ideas, knowing that their voice will be valued, and their
ideas given due consideration.
We are an IB World School,
authorised to deliver all three of the International Baccalaureate
Programmes. We have three campuses serving the educational needs of the
international community in central London and surrounding areas. Southbank Hampstead and Southbank Kensington are both IB Primary Years Programme (3-11 years/Early Childhood to Grade 5) schools and Southbank Westminster offers the IB Middle Years Programme (11-16 years/Grade 6 to 10) and the IB Diploma Programme (16-18 years/Grades 11 and 12). The Southbank Westminster campus occupies two sites at Portland Place and Conway Street.
The
story of Southbank International School has been one of continuing
change and growth since its foundation in 1979, but more than a quarter
of a century later the School is still committed to the maintenance of
the ethos and core values which have brought it to its present highly
successful position:
- We are dedicated to the IB programme.
- Our school offers a truly international dynamic.
- We offer small classes and EAL support.
- Our academic standards are high. We are currently in the top 5% of international schools in the UK (source: The Times).
- We are a happy, family school.
At Southbank, teaching and learning is the focus of all decisions and activities.
