Savile Row tailoring is known worldwide as the epitome of style, finesse and sartorial elegance. A place where generations of discerning people have come to experience the pleasure of wearing the finest handmade bespoke clothing.

At Timothy James Henderson, you will step into a world of gentlemanly traditions steeped in history and tailoring excellence, a place where experience, not expedience is the order of the day and why our clients commission us to make their clothing.

First impressions really do count, so it is vital you make the correct one, be it business or leisure, let our years of experience guide you whatever the occasion maybe. All our clothing is meticulously hand cut and sewn, with hours of individual hand work, some hidden from the eye, yet vital, going into every garment.

Our Services

We work by appointment, daytime or evening at either of our showrooms (Savile Row, daytime and weekdays only) or you may prefer us to visit you at your home, office or hotel suite.

Dates for our New York trips are available on request.

After selecting your cloth and lining from our vast collection of the most luxurious fabrics from the great mills of Yorkshire, Italy and not forgetting hand woven tweed from Donegal, Ireland and Harris tweed from the beautiful and rustic Scottish Isle of Harris, decide on the style and design options you prefer. We will then measure you up ready for our cutter to make your all important, first basted try on garment fitting. This fitting allows us to see any imperfections and corrections we need to make ready for your next fitting. There are usually several fittings involved, with the whole process taking between nine to twelve weeks from start to completion.

You can either collect your finished garment or it can be delivered to your door.
