Limpsfield LTC is a friendly racket sports club located in the
attractive
Surrey
village of Limpsfield, on the Surrey - Kent - Sussex borders,
on the outskirts of Oxted.
A members club, we play tennis, squash, racketball, badminton, table tennis, and welcome players
of all abilities.
Established for over 100 years, we have healthy membership made
up of all ages, and coming from locations across Surrey, Kent,
and East and West Sussex.
Tennis
Limpsfield LTC has a total of 16 Tennis courts, a combination of 5
porous acrylic (3 of which are floodlit), 5 ‘astroturf’ and 7 tarmacadam
courts, plus a mini Tennis court and a practice wall. Every one of our
Tennis courts have been resurfaced, re-laid or repainted in the past 5
years approx. With our variety of surfaces we find that even without
indoor Tennis courts, there are very few, if any, days in a year that our
courts are not playable! Our courts are open 365 days a year and we
operate a turn up and play policy – we do not take
Tennis
court bookings
except in certain circumstances.

Social & Other
Activities
Social Activities
As well as members playing, competing in, and
enjoying their chosen sports of Tennis, Squash, Racketball, Badminton
and Table Tennis, Limpsfield LTC is a sociable club to be a member of.
Bar and Patio
After playing, members relax in our spacious
well stocked-bar or, during the warmer months, on our large,
attractive patio area. We have a menu of tasty sandwiches and
snacks on offer at key lunchtimes and evenings. A large screen
TV with sky sports screens major sporting events.
Different sports tend to meet in the bar at
different times: Typically our tennis players sit sunning and sipping in
the summer evenings or warming up in the bar during the colder months,
whilst players in our ladies morning sessions meet in the bar for a
coffee and cake as reward for their morning exertions. Evenings see our
squash players and teams meeting in the bar after playing – a popular
area after club night and team league squash especially, and our
badminton players are often to be seen in the bar too, but somewhat
later.
Pool and Darts
A
large room just off the bar area houses a pool table and dart board.
Social Events and Theme
Nights
We have a number of club social events
organised throughout the year, as well as occasions such a themed food
nights or Sunday lunches – keep an eye on the site or social notice
board for forthcoming dates. Different sports sections and groups also
organise their own social events
