Ministry of Football is an innovative new football programme operating in North London. Ministry of Football uses high-quality coaching in skill activities and small-sided game activities in order to promote creativity and self-expression. We often use dance music during games in sessions to help build a positive, fun, high-tempo atmosphere.
Ministry of Football is different from other programmes. It is not just another football session where coaches tell children what to do. But it is also not just fun and games. Players at Ministry of Football sessions follow a set syllabus, designed to help children become innovative, confident problem solvers. Whereas most elite football coaching programmes in London use people to develop football, Ministry of Football uses football to develop people.
The aims of the Ministry of Football programme are:
- to promote player and child creativity and self-expression
- to develop healthy, confident players and children who can experiment with different answers and are not afraid to try new things
- to help produce skilful and creative football players who understand and enjoy the game.
