Horse
riding should be safe as well as fun! When you start riding with us
you'll have a half hour private lesson at a special offer price. If
you are a beginner, we will teach you how to sit correctly on a horse, how
to ask them to walk, turn and stop, and if you feel confident enough you
can learn to do rising trot. If you have ridden before, we can see
what you have learnt and what would be the best class for you to join.
After
this first lesson most riders choose to join a class with other riders of
the same ability. Our classes are small and very friendly and it
helps to see others finding things just as hard as you do! However,
if you wish you may continue with a few more private lessons to boost your
skills and confidence even more.
When
you ride with us you'll progress through different levels gaining
certificates as you go. You will also go for rides out in the lovely
Suffolk countryside, with a leader at first and then learning to control
your horse yourself in walk, trot and canter. You can even learn to
jump and take part in one of our shows!
