My name is Ken Anderson. I am an FCA, with over 40 years experience in the accountancy profession. 20 of those years were as a general practitioner. In this period, I dealt with literally hundreds of small to medium sized businesses, and individuals. I gained experience of a multitude of different types of business, operating in a multitude of trades and professions.

As with all accountancy practices, I had clients who were investigated by HMRC. I found that not only was I very skilled at defending those clients, I was able to achieve very successful results for them, and - almost uniquely amongst accountants -
I actually enjoyed the work!

In January 1997, I established Tax Investigation Services (TIS) from an office in my home. Using my years of experience, I have since had the pleasure of defending many businesses and individuals against 'enquiries' (the supposedly user friendly word now used instead of 'investigations') by HMRC. Results in the vast majority of cases have been spectacularly successful.
