I set up Remote Visual Inspections Ltd at the end of 2003 ready for its launch on 1st Jan 2004. RVI Ltd has grown over the years and now has 3 full time inspectors.

I started in the aviation industry in 1977 when leaving school I joined British Caledonian as an apprentice. On the way to RVI Ltd I spent time with British Airways, after their take over of British Caledonian. In 1988 I moved to Virgin Atlantic Airways where I spent just short of 10 years before leaving airline life to join the borescope company “The Aviation Company”. The Aviation Co' later Trans-Aero asset management closed its doors for business in December 2003.
Rob Ward. Inspector and qualified solicitor.
Rob joined RVI Ltd in March 2007 from Monarch Engineering. Rob started his aviation life in the RAF in 1982 at the young age of 16. In 1993 Rob moved to British Airways Maintenance Cardiff (BAMC). Before joining Monarch Engineering in 1999 Rob spent a little time with both Bond Helicopters and Cranfield Aerospace.
