Lenton 
Engineering started as a partnership in 1980, renting a small 
workshop
on our present site. We have developed and grown into a limited
company, now owning and occupying 4500 square feet of workshop and
office space and employing a dedicated staff. Our plant and machinery
allows us to offer CNC machining, plus manual milling and turning.
Plant available includes a Hurco BMC30HT and a KM5P, two Colchester CNC
Lathes, one with 
bar feed. A Bridgeport NC, which is good for bolt circles, etc. Manual machinery includes 3 Colchester Triumph
2000's, a Harrison M40 and a M30, Adcock and Shipley vertical and
horizontal mills, a Bridgeport, Kondia and Condor. Various saws, radial
drill and inspection devices. We offer high precision machining for
pneumatic and hydraulic cylinder parts, working for a multi- national 
company.
We also manufacture vacuum chambers and all mechanical parts for lens
coating machines, for the spectacle industry working with a vast range
of materials such as titanium, zirconium, niobium all grades of mild
and stainless steels, 
aluminium and various plastics. Components are manufactured to a high standard and inspected by our skilled 
workforce.
Management is always on hand to evaluate and deal with any problems
should they arise. We have manv customers from the film and television
industry, where we have manufactured rickshaws, aluminium booms,
levelling heads, and track for the film cameras to run on. 
Lenton Engineering offers a collection and delivery service, which ensures quick and 
efficient turn round times.
