For a number of
years, PDE has been actively developing the aerospace/automotive sector
of its business, particularly in the areas of tooling
fixtures, component test structures and
special purpose equipment. Throughout this period, the company has
improved and expanded it in-house tooling, mechanical design and
engineering facilities.
Typically
designs and drawings are developed utilising CATIA, CADDS 5, Mechanical
Desktop or Autocad software. These variants enable PDE to provide
flexibility and compatibility to customers. Drawings and solids
model files can be transferred via ISDN in various file formats for
customer use.
PDE's team of
engineers has extensive experience gained through working on a range of
projects within the environmental and water treatment industries
throughout the UK, Ireland and rest of Europe.

In addition to its
areas of specialist expertise, PDE can provide a wide range of general
engineering services. These range from transfer of customer data

CAD modelling software is used
to create realistic rendered images for product visualisation to enable
aesthetic approval, as well as generation of data for rapid prototyping
and component manufacture. Special purpose machinery is designed

and detailing of mechanical, electrical/ electronic hardware, control
and software systems.
