GEM TOOL HIRE & SALES LTD was established in
1979 and in that time has grown substantially to operate out of three
depots, with 35 members of staff representing over 250 years of
combined experience within the Tool & Plant Industry.
We are
able to offer an extensive product and service offering that is second
to none, we have over 3,000 products available to hire and we are
constantly evaluating our fleet to ensure we keep up to date with the
latest technological advances and latest health & safety
regulations.
As well as having non-operated plant available to
hire, for more specialist situations we can offer a contracting service
for concrete diamond drilling & impact moling, our fully trained
staff can offer a complete service with consultation and specification
through to installation and maintenance on 'stand-by' power units.
With GEM it is possible to hire anything
from wallpaper strippers to diggers, access equipment and much, much
more. Our stores are fully equipped with a huge range of accessories
& consumables and therefore we are a complete 'one stop' shop.
GEM TOOL HIRE & SALES LTD are members of
the Hire Association Europe (H.A.E) and have been awarded a prestigious
safety certificate from the International Trade Organisation. The
Certificate is awarded for meeting a six point programme of Customer
Care. Some of the standards are higher than the legal minimum.
GEM TOOL HIRE & SALES LTD had to satisfy
the H.A.E that all equipment is serviced and tested before every hire,
also that efficient records are maintained including safety test
results. GEM are assessed by H.A.E on a regular basis to ensure the
high standard expected continues. This list is by no means our
comprehensive offering as we are continually updating and increasing
our fleet of products.
