B.L. Acoustics Limited was founded as Barry Larcombe Associates in 1993. Our company provides solutions in Audio systems with over 20 years of experience in the industry.

We provide a diverse and comprehensive service to the audio industry, with in-house consultancy to back up field activities.

B.L.Acoustics provide products and services that span the audio industry - Public Address and Voice Alarm (PA/VA) systems for shopping centres, airports and factories, incorporating Noise Masking systems, Induction Loop (AFILS) and all associated Project Management and Controls. We install many systems and provide servicing, controlling CDM and HSE requirements.

We carry out measurement of all aspects of Audio and Vibration 1Hz - 40kHz. B.L.Acoustics also carry out architectural acoustic design for public areas, studio, theatre, music/practice rooms, dwellings, acoustically modelled by computer to predict audio coverage, sound qualities and speech intelligibility(% alcons, articulation, STI, RASTI).

With Health & Safety and environmental issues we provide surveys and assessments for Noise at Work (NAW act 1989) and Planning Applications (PPG24 etc.)

Architectural Acoustics
With the open plan visions of many architects come large scale acoustic problems, all needing special attention and pre-planning to prevent a poor result. Studio Design

With the development in sound production on the PC, studios are required, more and more, to produce quality demo and track recordings. Properly designed walls and surfaces provide the best performance. We provide all of the disciplines for a turnkey project. Designs are given full analysis to avoid nodal and coloration problems.
