Dampness of any kind within a property can result in timber defects and deterioration of masonry and plaster.
It is a problem that affects all properties at some time or other. It is therefore important that the cause of Dampness or Timber Rot is accurately diagnosed so that an appropriate cure for the problem can be established.

We pride ourselves on the accuracy and quality of our surveys and remedial treatment. We have gained a reputation in the industry for saying it as it is - its a waste of time and money if you property is being treated for rising damp when the real problem may be due to condensation, plumbing or some other dampness problem.

SERVICES INCLUDING:

DAMP PROOFING     We provide the latest in damp proofing techniques and install B.S.I.approved         chemicals to manufacturers specification. For standard damproofing we use water based DPC  Injection Fluids unless otherwise specified in our detailed reports. Pressure Siliconate injection and a special mortar mix incorporating high grade waterproof additive and salt inhibitors are usual in standard damp proofing work. TANKING - Cementitious & Membrane     We carry out a range of tanking works tailored to specific requirements. For cementitious works we use mainly SIKA Waterproofing Materials as per manufacturer's specification. Cementitious tanking involves preparation of walls, ceilings etc including removal of cement and plaster coverings , bush hammering of exposed areas and aplication of Sika waterproofing materials as appropriate to walls ceilings and floors.  Membrane Tanking involves the installation of a specially formulated excruded material to walls, ceilings and floors to provide a dry internal environment. This application is mostly non destructive in so far as the membrane can be readily fixed to walls and ceilings without , in most cases , the removal of existing plaster and render. Membrane Tanking has become popular for cellars, sub ground level accomodation , office space and storage.   DRY ROT, WET ROT & WOODWORM TREATMENT We specialise in Dry Rot / Wet Rot and woodworm identification , treatment and repairs. RESIN REPAIR SYSTEMS     We will undertake Resin Repairs to structurally unsound timbers within Churches ,  Vaults and barn conversions.
