At Slaters we pride ourselves in the personal service and choice
that we offer to our customers. At the heart of what we do is an ethos
that consistently places our customers needs first.
Slaters was started in 1973 by the late Ralph Slater, as a menswear
only retailer and we've since launched our Formal Hire range in 2004
and ladieswear in 2005. We’re passionate about the shopping experience
that we provide to our customer. From shirts and suits to highlandwear
and ladieswear, all of our clothes are made according to exacting
standards for quality and come in a wide variety of colours and styles.
Still run by the Slater family, we are proud to have 24 stores
nationwide each with it’s own team of tailors and seamstresses offering
a free alterations service to all of our customers. We offer a unique
service to customers in that we have highly trained staff who are not
paid commission. Their job is to make sure you get exactly what you
want with the minimum of fuss.
We are able to offer highly competive prices compared to other
retailers. This is because we locate our stores off the main street and
are generally on the first or second floor of a building. this means
that our overheads are lower, resulting in savings that we can pass on
to you.
