Neil Rayment learnt the craft of Silversmith and Goldsmith at Medway
College of Art and Design, winning several prestigious Goldsmith Craftsmanship
and Design awards during his four year study.
Having graduated in 1990, Neil was one of only two graduates
to be invited to exhibit at the Business Design Center in Islington,
London. Neil established his first
business at the age of 21, and three years later won the first ever' Young
Designer of the Year' at the UK Jewellery Awards with his premier collection
Genesis. Over the next decade Neil set
about establishing himself as a contemporary designer and continued to win
awards and accolades.
In 2001 Neil left the UK and traveled aboard, living in
America and Australia gaining inspiration from every facet of his travels.
Neil returned to the UK in 2004, and settled in Cardiff with
his wife and baby boy. This is when he founded Advanced Jewel Craft, and since
its launch Neil has gone from strength to strength, reestablishing himself as
an eminent figure in British Jewellery design. Double award winner of
Goldsmiths Craftsmanship and design Awards in 2007, and winner at the Kayman
Awards 2008.
Neil continues with renewed vigor to create, design and
manufacture high quality contemporary jewellery.
