in French cars, we can also provide interim and full servicing,
repairs, diagnostics's, spare parts, aircon refilling and MOT's for

At
MTS we have a very friendly team of highly skilled staff who run 3 busy
service bays. One bay is dedicated solely to carrying out MOT work. We
are an official government approved MOT testing station. Our MOT
testers provided an MOT while you wait service or you can drop off your
car to us and collect it later in the day at your convenience. All
MOT's must be pre booked in advance. If your car requires some work to
get it through the MOT test, we can carry this work out for you at a

We
carry out vehicle servicing to the manufactures specs. Our rates are
very competitive for an oil, oil filter change and fluids check. If you
require the use of a courtesy car please mention this at the time of
booking in your vehicle.

Aircon systems
Most
modern car air conditioning systems need regular servicing due to the
natural porosity of the hoses and components of the air conditioning
systems
found in modern vehicles. The refrigerant gas that the system relies on
to work slowly leaks out of the aircon system at a rate of 15-20% per
year, there for making your aircon system gradually less efficient
until it finally stops working all together. If you let your Aircon
system totally run out of refrigerant and you don't use the system for
several months the chances are that internal component seals will have
dried out and you will have leaks in your system when it is eventually
re-gassed.
Frequently ask questions
How long does it take to service and re-gas my aircon system?
At least one hour, anything less means that the job is not being done correctly.
How often should my aircon system be serviced?
Every 18 months to 2 years to ensure it operates at maximum efficiency.
If you let the system run low on refrigerant, the compressor can work
twice as hard and will therefore could wear out in half the time.
Why does my cars aircon system get low on refrigerant ?
All the pipes and connections on your aircon system are naturally
slightly porous, so you could lose anything up to 20% of the gas every
year due to natural leakage

About the MOT test..
At
MTS Motors the MOT test is carried out to the highest standards. Every
vehicle in the UK needs to be tested each year to ensure that it
complies with roadworthiness standards. If you have a vehicle that is
more than 3
years
old, it will need an MOT test each year to ensure that it meets at
least the minimum road safety and environmental standards. Our MOT
technicians will check your brakes, hand brake, wipers, lights, horn,
seats, seat belts, steering, exhaust, wheels, windscreen, tyres ect to
make sure they are all in good condition and working order. A check is
also carried out to make sure the structure of the vehicle is sound and
your vehicles emissions meet the required specs set down by the
government. We have the facilities to check petrol or diesel vehicles.
The test takes on average around 45 minutes to an hour to be completed.
When your vehicle passes the MOT test you will be issued an MOT pass
certificated by the MOT technician. Should the vehicle fail, you will
be issued with a VT3O certificate stating the items causing the failure
of the MOT test.
Retest..
Our
commitment to our customer service is shown in our free 10 day re-test
period. Have the items that fail the MOT test repaired to the correct
standards and return the car to us within 10 days for a free retest.
