Established for over 20 years, ASM Auto Recycling is widely regarded as one
of the UK’s most modern and professional vehicle salvage agents and parts
recyclers.
Although the company has grown and invested significantly over the years to
become one of the key players in the vehicle recycling industry, we pride

desired levels of service, experience and enthusiasm that we would like to be

Transport
Our direct contracts with several top name insurance and leasing companies
means that we collect a steady flow of fresh stock vehicles every day.
At present, our catchment area for vehicle collections covers a vast
territory including Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Oxfordshire,
Northamptonshire, Middlesex and West London.
To ensure that we are able to meet these contractual collection requirements,
we run a modern fleet of 1,2,3 and 6-car transporters.
Vehicle Storage
We currently stock over 2,500 vehicles, made up of both damaged-repairable
salvage and dismantle-only vehicles.
Having been collected, each vehicle is then given a computer-generated
location in our ‘xmas tree’ racking system. This system enables
easy identification and reduces the likelihood of damage to vehicles on site.
Our 10 acres of storage is fully concreted and has oil-collecting
interceptors built underground. We strive to operate to the highest possible
environmental standards and our sites have been accredited as
Authorised Treatment
Facilities
(ATFs) by the Environment Agency - EAWML No's: 86046 and 86388.
Online Salvage Auctions
ASM (Oxford) is part of the 4salvage online
auction, which offers a choice of over 500 cars, vans and bikes for
salvage re-sale every week.
We get in all makes and models that suit all budget levels, ranging from
Fiestas to Ferraris and Polos to Porsches - and the price of a salvage
vehicle purchased from ASM can be up to 50% LESS than the same model, once
repaired, purchased from any car showroom!
All of our re-sale vehicles have been inspected by qualified engineers and
have been passed as suitable for legitimate repair, in accordance with
ABI
guidelines.
Used Car Parts
We are able to supply almost any part for any vehicle - and to anywhere in
the world!
Our parts department is simply massive and stocks over 250,000 guaranteed
recycled auto parts. These parts can be either collected from our retail
outlets in Aylesbury or Thame, or delivered nationwide the next day.
All of our recycled parts are cleaned, tested and covered by our 90-day
guarantee.
Vehicle Dismantling
Our modern 11-bay workshops are fully equipped to enable the safe and
efficient dismantling, cleaning and testing of all our recycled parts.
We have also installed a number of ‘state-of-the-art’ de-pollution rigs to
enable the processing of abandoned and end-of-life vehicles (ELV’s) in
accordance with the
European ELV Directive.
Scrap Metal Processing
Our sister company, ASM Metal Recycling Ltd.,
provides us with an on-site division dedicated specifically to dealing with the
high volumes of de-polluted end-of-life vehicles that we handle.
Once we have de-polluted a vehicle, their role will then be to recover and
recycle as much of the ferrous and non-ferrous metal content as possible -
including the engine, radiator, battery, catalytic converter, wheel rims and
finally the shell.
As you can see, they are well ‘geared up’ for the processing of scrap
vehicles, with their 900-tonne car baler, 4 x material-handling cranes, 6 x
rollon-off vehicles and 2 x artics.
